Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager – Business Development will support the strategic growth of the organization by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to revenue expansion. This role focuses on building partnerships with healthcare providers and facilities, promoting the company’s medical billing services, and ensuring client satisfaction through continuous engagement and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Business Development Manager in planning and executing growth strategies.
Identify potential clients in the healthcare sector, including clinics, group practices, home health agencies, and mental health providers.
Prepare and deliver customized proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through regular communication and follow-up.
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, credentialing, billing, coding) to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
Track sales metrics and generate reports on leads, conversions, and client satisfaction.
Support contract negotiations and assist with pricing discussions.
Collaborate on marketing campaigns and contribute to branding initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management—preferably in the healthcare or medical billing sector.
Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management (RCM), insurance billing processes, and payer guidelines.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze data and present insights clearly.
Goal-driven and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards is a plus.
