Job Title: Draft Officer (AutoCAD/SketchUp)
Reports to: Principal Energy Consultant Manager
Location: Karachi
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Draft Officer with expertise in AutoCAD and SketchUp to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings, designs, and models for various projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and modify technical drawings, designs, and models using AutoCAD and SketchUp
– Develop and maintain accurate and detailed project documentation
– Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy
– Conduct site visits to gather information and verify design accuracy
– Ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and industry best practices
– Mentor and train junior drafters in AutoCAD and SketchUp
Requirements:
– Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field
– Minimum 1 year experience in technical drafting using AutoCAD and SketchUp
– Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with ability to learn new software
– Excellent attention to detail and drafting skills
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
– Postgraduate degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field
– Professional certification (e.g. CAD Manager, Autodesk Certified User)
