Location: Islamabad
We are looking for a Data Engineer (AWS Data Platform) to join our busy and dynamic business intelligence – data platform team based in our Lahore office.
What You’ll Do
About you:
* 5+ years developer experience on commercial projects
* Extensive data modelling and SQL experience
* Good to have Python development experience
* Experience with query engines like AWS Athena, Hive, SparkSQL,Redshift or similar technologies
* Experience building data pipelines using cloud services (AWS preferable)
* Skilled in SQL or Python development
* Ability to work with clients and engage across teams/disciplines
* Experience working in an agile environment
Your responsibilities:
* Design and build ETL processes
* Production-ise solutions with security and monitoring best practices
* Innovate and create custom solutions/workarounds
* Work on high-quality architecture and implementation design, collaborating with the customer, system/business analysts and onshore architects
* Influence ways of working within development teams
* Contribute to design and decision making
* Mentor more junior colleagues
Salary & benefits:
• 200000-300000 PKR (dependes on Exp)
