Job Description:
We are a leading fancy light company looking for an experienced and dedicated accountant to join our team. As the accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records and ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting. You will work closely with the rest of the finance team to manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare financial statements, and maintain budgets.
Job Responsibilities:
– Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
– Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, and assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
– Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.
– Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure financial data is accurately captured in our systems.
– Implement and maintain controls to minimize financial risk.
– Assist with audit and tax-related activities.
– Conduct performance analysis of financial systems and recommend improvements to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field.
– 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an accounting or finance team.
– Experience with financial management software, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve goals.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in a systematic manner.
– Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
