Senior Python Developer (Trading Bot)
DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an experienced Python developer to work on developing libraries for Lumibot (open-source trading bot). The libraries shall be used by developer community to build securities trading algorithms for financial industry. The candidate should possess good analytical skills, strong algorithm concepts and Unit testing skills. The candidate should be a problem solver, and be able to bring positivity and enthusiasm in trying to offer potential solutions for architectural considerations with a can-do attitude.
Skills Required:
• Advanced knowledge of Python and Flask
• Experience in developing high frequency Securities (stocks, options) libraries using a trading bot.
• Worked in finance industry for Banks, Stock Trading software companies or relevant.
• Strong Unit testing experience to ensure transaction integrity and accuracy.
• An interest to learn the business supported by the applications.
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed functional, technical, and system specifications.
• Git flows
Skills Desired:
• Stocks and Crypto trading algorithms experience
• Google Cloud
• Experience with low-latency technologies
• Knowledge of agile software development environments
• Understanding of Machine Learning or Data Science concepts
