REGULAR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Preparation of all kinds of media /reagents / stains
• Analyze laboratory findings
• Conduct parasitological and serological analysis of urine and blood
• Processing of all Routine Microbiological Samples
• Antibiotic Susceptibility processing
• Check the accuracy of results
• Calibrate and operate all instruments in the microbiology Lab
• Run internal quality controls on daily basis and also run EQA samples
• Inform all abnormal results to related Dr/ Staff/ Senior/ Supervisor
• Proper storage of samples and bacterial / fungal culture
• Issuance of reports
• Rejection of tests if required
• Rejection of samples on certain criteria prescribed in SOPs
PERIODIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (Monthly Quarterly, Biannually, Annual)
• Maintenance of stock of kits, consumables etc.
• Maintenance of Data
• Monthly maintenance of analyzers according to Maintenance Procedures.
• Weekly maintenance log
• If any error/ problem occurs in any analyzer, communication with supplier’s Biomedical Department and Engineers.
