Location: Karachi
A Not for Profit renowned Hospital is seeking applications from experienced and well qualified candidates for the post of “Chief Financial Officer” at Karachi. Attractive salary package shall be offered to the Ideal candidate. The candidate should be able to:
1. Provide strategic direction to the institution through strategy formulation, decision making, forecast/budgeting in line with business plan and Its implementation/monitoring.
2. Establish and implement internal controls and ensuring efficient and effective financial operations as per industry benchmarks.
3. Ensure that Financial and Accounting policies, MIS & procedures are in accordance with statutory regulations and global standards and complying with risk management and internal controls.
4. Take charge of Finance, Accounts and Taxation matters. Ensure that all accounting records are properly and timely maintained, reporting cycles and other associated engagements are successfully performed in an effective and timely manner In accordance with the regulatory and organizational requirements.
5. Finalize annual financial statements/ periodic financial statements (where required), get them audited from External Auditors and place them before Board of Trustees for consideration and approval.
6. Co-ordinate with stakeholders and monitor the overall funding (induding grants) status, disbursements, repayment and related reporting’s.
7. Assist in training & resource development initiatives focusing on knowledge, skills and attitudes for building capacities to deliver on present positions and build long term capability to shoulder additional responsibilities; and
8. Work with the wider senior management team to interact with all stakeholders, multilaterals and other global and local entities to enhance the institution profile, build alliances and source grant funding. The candidate must have at least ten (10) years’ experience and possess professional qualification viz Chartered Accountant, ACCA or ACMA. Experience in the relevant field will be an additional advantage to qualify for the required position.
