Leading Supermarket in DHA is seeking a highly skilled baker to fill the position of Head Baker at our store. Candidate should be able to ensure development of the bakery team & progression of the products. Candidate should have good knowledge of international standard bakery products including cakes, pastries, French Macarons, ,clairs, artisanal breads, baguettes, ciabatta, etc.
Candidate should have experience as a Head Baker in a large scale bakery production unit along with thorough hands-on experience of managing a large team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and co-ordinate day-to-day operations of the bakery and pastry section of the kitchen. Responsible for planning, directing, supervising and assisting in bakery operations, recipe development, cost saving initiatives, etc. Responsible to produce excellent quality and creative bakery products with a variety of flavors, shapes & sizes.
Drives the financial performance of the bakery by ensuring production and labor schedules are managed, pars developed and adjusted in conjunction with business needs, product is being used wisely to ensure low to no waste. Bakery is equipped with the required staff and help in recruiting and later on providing appropriate training to personnel.
Qualification: Intermediate/ Diploma Minimum of 5 years of experience.
