Timing – (8 hours rotational shift)
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the real-time location, speed, and status of vehicles in the fleet.
Analyze tracking data to optimize route efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and minimize vehicle turnaround time.
Coordinate with dispatchers and drivers to communicate route changes, schedule updates, and delivery instructions based on tracking information.
Investigate incidents or accidents involving fleet vehicles by reviewing tracking data and providing relevant information to management.
Stay informed about advancements in vehicle tracking technologies and industry best practices. Make recommendations for system upgrades or replacements as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as logistics, transportation management, or information technology.
Proven experience in fleet management, vehicle tracking, or related fields.
Proficiency in using vehicle tracking software and GPS technologies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret tracking data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work non-standard hours or be on-call as needed to address urgent issues or emergencies.
