We’re looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer for our karachi office, who is passionate about coding and excited to work on high-performance APIs and backend systems.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Python
Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices
Work with MySQL and MongoDB databases
Design and develop RESTful APIs
Integrate third-party services like payment gateways and messaging APIs
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
Optimize application performance and fix production issues
Participate in code reviews and team discussions
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 year of professional backend development experience
Strong skills in Node.js and basic experience with Python
Knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB
Understanding of REST APIs and scalable system design
Basic experience with Git and CI/CD
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
Experience in unit and integration testing
