OutsourceNZ is Looking to Hire a DevOps Engineer/SCM for one of it’s European Clients.
Responsibilities:
● Design and manage infrastructure related to the software development lifecycle.
● Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and tools in close collaboration with our developers and product managers.
● Improve automation processes for building, packaging and releasing web applications running on Linux (Ubuntu) servers.
● Highly proactive, and motivated with a positive can-do attitude. Language Skills
● Very good communication skills in English, written and spoken.
Requirements:
● Practical experience in CI/CD methodology. We use GitLab.
● Practical experience of containerization using Docker. We are developing web applications using the following technologies: Laravel 4.2 and newer, Node, React, Vue, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, SCSS, SASS.
● Strong knowledge of version control systems. We use Git.
● Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) server configuration within the scope of web application deployment.
● Intermediate knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) server administration. This includes the configuration of the hosting environment for web applications, managing the domain records, ability to install and configure an smtp email sending service etc.
● Having a web developer background is nice to have.
